Amerihorse DOES NOT require a deposit prior to pickup for any reason. Any person asking for a deposit prior to pickup stating they are us is a SCAMMER.
Does Amerihorse require deposits?
Amerihorse does NOT require deposits to book with us. We do require a signed contract to book with us. We require a deposit of 1/2 the total transport bill only AFTER the horse has been picked up for transports over 500 miles. Transports under 500 miles are due on delivery only with no deposits either before or after pickup.
When is my horse considered booked and a transport slot held?
We require a signed completed contract to consider your horse booked and the transport slot held in reserve for your horse. We operate on a first signed first booked basis so it is in your best interest to fill out your contract as quickly as possible after receiving it. Delays on signing can result in us being booked in a completely different direction and no longer able to accommodate your transport.
Discussing a transport need with us does not in anyway lock in your slot. On any given day we can be talking to as many as 40 different people about transports and the greater majority do not end up transporting with us so we CANNOT hold a spot for ANY period of time while you decide on which carrier to use. The quote and time frame we give you is preliminary and not set in stone they will change based on who actually completes a contract and books us first.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Amerihorse accepts Paypal (Goods & Services), cash, and Cashapp for deposits AFTER pickup or payment on delivery. We play to add the ability to accept major credit cards at the time of delivery within the very recent future (we are waiting on the machine to arrive). We do not for any reason accept checks or money orders.
